Matteson, James R., MD
About
Dr. Matteson received his bachelor’s from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, where he graduated cum laude. In 1995, he then received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. He then went on to complete his urology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, New York.
Dr. Matteson is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is licensed in the state of New Jersey. He is affiliated with Newton Memorial Hospital, Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, and Saint Clare’s Hospital.
He has multiple publications in the field of urology and has done multiple oral presentations as well. Dr. Matteson has also won multiple awards for excellence in urologic surgery.
